Villa Spalletti Trivelli

Villa Spalletti Trivelli is an intimate hideaway in Rome, set within a beautiful garden and just steps from the Trevi Fountain. A former private home, it has been sensitively transformed into an elegant boutique hotel, owned and run by the Italian aristocratic Spalletti Trivelli family. This early 20th century villa still retains the feel of the spectacular private home it originally was, with the family’s collection of antiques, original works of art and Flemish tapestries on display and a relaxed, discrete atmosphere putting guests immediately at ease.

Bringing the number of rooms and suites to 15, the hotel has recently opened a brand new apartment, perfect for guests wanting a luxurious home from home but alongside all the services of a hotel. ‘Esquilino’ is a beautiful two bedroom apartment, originally a private property belonging to Susanna and Giangiacomo Spalletti, adjacent to the main hotel.

The apartment very much retains the feel of the family residence it originally was, filled with unique personal touches, fresh flowers and all the comforts of home. The apartment’s paintings and furniture have been selected from the family’s private collection of French and Italian 17th and 18th Century antiques, by Susanna Spalletti. Her impeccable style can be seen throughout the space, from the eclectic pieces including original Flemish rugs and hand-made furniture to the delicate linen curtains and muted colour scheme. The apartment provides a delightful respite from Rome’s hustle and bustle, while still being situated in a prime location steps from the Trevi Fountain.

A spacious living area leads onto two bathrooms, two bedrooms (one double and one single with an option of an extra bed), and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything from the Italian cotton bedlinen, marble sinks and 18th Century French chest of drawers, to the high speed internet and fully stocked minibar ensure a stay of true comfort and style. A full breakfast served in the main hotel is included in the nightly rate, and for an extra charge guests can opt to have a private chef to cook candlelit suppers in the privacy of the apartment. For a taste of La Dolce Vita, look no further than Villa Spalletti Trivelli!

No minimum stay is required. Nightly rates to book the apartment, including breakfast, from 1,020 Euros. Visit www.villaspalletti.it for more details and to book.
