Dukley Gardens – a luxury complex of residences, situated on the picturesque peninsula, Zavala, in Budva, Montenegro.
In an effort to reinforce its status as one of the world’s most prestigious holiday destinations and to attract more travellers from around the world and emulate its neighbouring country Croatia, Montenegro is opening a new luxurious tourism complex entitled Dukley Gardens. It will be located along the shores of the Adriatic and across from the seaside town of Budva in southwest Montenegro.
This new luxury resort and residential complex will offer unparalleled views over the Adriatic Sea. It will include restaurants, childcare facilities and a huge beach. Being situated in a region that is steadily opening up to tourism, the complex is designed first and foremost for affluent travellers looking for an intimate destination off the beaten path.
The developers Stratex have invested €100 million (RM430 million) to build the new complex, which includes apartments for rent or sale, as well as a marina and seafront lounge to draw international jet setters.
Tourists staying at Dukley Gardens can explore the Tara Canyon as well as Budva’s impressive fortress and old town, which has preserved all of the country’s old world charm.
The complex which is expected to be fully open by December 2014, will be presented on September 11 at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes as part of one of the global nautical sector’s most important events, the Yachting Festival.
At present, most tourists holidaying in Montenegro stay in the country’s most popular town of Tivat in the North. This seaside resort boasts the luxury yacht marina Porto Montenegro.
