Owned by Russian billionaire businessman and owner of Chelsea Football Club, Roman Abramovich.  The world’s most expensive luxury yacht built by Blohm and Voss has extremely well designed defense technology, a 528 foot yacht with 2 helipads, 2 swimming pools, it’s very own disco, restaurant and a mini submarine.

Superyacht Azzam – $600 Million

Azzam

Owned by the President of the UAE, Khalifa Al Nahyan. Launched in 2013 by the German ship-builders Lurssen Yachts, unique exteriors by Nauta Yachts and superb interior design by Christophe Leoni. As well as being the largest yacht in the world at an unprecedented 180 metres and still being able to reach top speeds of over 30 knots, she also adds another record in regards to building time having spent a mere three years in build following one year of engineering.

Owned since 2001 by the Sheik of the Emirate of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.  The vessel was previously ordered by Brunei’s Prince Jefri Bolkiah in 1996, where the project was stopped due to the prince’s lack of funds at the time.  The 3rd largest yacht in the world by Blohm and Voss and launched in 2006. Also known as the floating city and at 525 feet long holds 7 giant decks, a luxury spa, helipad and a swimming pool.

Named after it’s owner Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said of Oman, the vessel has an aluminium superstructure. Its was the 2nd largest yacht in the world in 2007 – 2008 when it was custom made by Lurssen Yachts in Bremen. The exterior design was by Espen Oeino and the luxury interior by Redman Whitely Dixon.
